While we were staying in Salem, there was one afternoon that we planned to take a trip to the Hogle Zoo together as a family. Since we have a pass to the Phoenix Zoo we got 50% off on our tickets to the Hogle Zoo! I guess there is some sort of deal between Zoos across the nation where if you're a pass holder you can get in free or at a discounted rate at most zoos. So we got our whole family in for $20 which is a pretty good deal!
Kimbri loved the splash pad. Especially the fountain thing she is standing on in the next picture that would randomly spray up A TON of water! Yes, she got soaked. But it was such a hot day that she dried off quick!

We got everyone a Wendy's Frosty for the ride back to Salem from Salt Lake and the kids thought it was pretty amazing and enjoyed every bite of it.
We had so much fun going to the zoo together! I can't believe how much it has changed since the last time we were there when Kimbri was around 1 year old. There have been so many renovations, I hardly recognized the place! I wonder what will change by the time we go there again in who knows how long. But we had a blast and it was a really awesome little family outing!
