Halloween weekend was full of fun! IHOP always does the free "Scary Face" pancakes for kids so I decided to load up the kids and take them there for breakfast. Because who can say no to free breakfast?! The kid even went in their pjs and everything. I'm pretty sure they loved it! They got to decorate their own "scary face" and had a lot of fun eating the whipped cream and candy on top of the ginormous pancake. I'm pretty sure their faces tell all. :)
Kimbri thought it would be funny to put the Minnie Mouse ears on Brenna. I guess Brenna thought it was pretty funny too.
Rick's school, ATSU, always puts on a great Founders Day Festival around this time of year as well. This year they did it a day or two before Halloween and made it into a Halloween party as well. This festival is always super family friendly too. It's awesome. Garrett dressed up as Buzz Lightyear, again. And Kimbri decided that this time she would dress up like a ballerina. (Pretty sure she has dressed up like something different for almost every party/festival we've gone to, haha!) They had blow up bounce houses and slides, face painting, cotton candy, sno cones, and yummy food. It was all so great. It's nice when the school puts on free activities like this geared towards the families of the students. I know our family sure enjoyed it!

Rick's parents and my parents were all in town for Brenna's baby blessing since it was over Halloween weekend. Halloween was on Saturday and Brenna was blessed on November 1, a Sunday. So we felt extra spoiled getting to have both sets of grandparents join us for Trick-or-Treating. I know both Kimbri and Garrett loved all the attention they were getting from the grandparents. It was such great weather while we were walking around the neighborhood going trick-or-treating. We pushed Brenna in the stroller while we walked and got to visit with our parents while Kimbri and Garrett loaded up on some good loot. At some houses they got full-sized candy bars! We have a pretty great neighborhood for trick-or-treating :)
My parents brought Kimbri and Garrett both a Halloween costume just for fun and they ended up both LOVING them and decided to wear those on Halloween night. They looked so cute :) They brought Garrett a Spiderman costume and Kimbri a Cinderella outfit.
Rick's parents brought us a vampire bowl to put our Halloween candy in. When someone reaches into the bowl for candy, you can push a button on the end of a cord and the vampire talks and moves. It was pretty funny to get a couple good reactions out of trick-or-treaters that came to our house. Haha!
