Disneyland Trip!

Here are the pictures from our October Disneyland trip! We went to Disneyland as a family in June when Rick was on break from school but the kids and I got to go again in October with my Mom, Zach, Olivia, and Enoch. It was SO fun! Zach won Disney tickets off the radio and invited me and the kids along (Rick couldn't miss school) and then my mom bought Kimbri's ticket, which was so nice of her! 

We seriously had a blast and it was the perfect, much needed little getaway! It was perfect timing and felt like a huge blessing and opportunity to get out and have some fun and get my mind off of what had happened. I had been having a really hard time after the miscarriage so when my family called us up and asked if we would want to join them on the trip, we jumped at the chance! 

The kids and I drove about 6.5 hours to Disneyland and they were angels during the car ride! We only had to make ONE stop for Kimbri to go potty and to get Garrett's diaper changed and fill up with gas. It was amazing!!

We ended up getting to the hotel only about 25 minutes or so before my Mom and siblings so it was pretty good timing! We got some sleep that night and then woke up the next morning and went to Disneyland and California Adventure over the next few days. It was SO fun and exciting!! And it so fun to see Kimbri and Garrett get so excited and have the time of their lives. Everything is so real and magical to little kids so seeing them there made it that much more fun for me :)

The next few pictures are in Cars Land at California Adventure. Garrett has been so in to cars and trucks and trains... basically anything on wheels! So this was heaven for him. His favorite is Mater from the Cars movie, so here we are in line to meet Mater!

We have a Disney card through our bank so we got to go to the private meet and greet with Minnie Mouse!

This was on the cars ride... yes, I look a little crazy but that ride was so awesome!

On the rocket ride. Both Kimbri and Garrett loved this ride! It made me a little dizzy since it flies around in circles over and over, but they loved it. Can ya tell??

The Haunted Mansion ride. It was so fun to see all of Disneyland decorated for Halloween. There were pumpkins everywhere and awesome Halloween decorations all over the place! And the weather was awesome, it being that time of year.

Zach bought Kimbri and Garrett Mickey Mouse suckers. Garrett was sooo worn out at this point but wanted to eat his sucker so bad...

but he eventually zonked out, sucker still in hand.

Meeting princesses and other Disney characters! Kimbri is definitely not shy at all when it comes to meeting the characters!

These are made out of Legos! I can't even imagine how long that would take to build that.

One of the days we walked over to Downtown Disney and ate at the Rainforest Cafe. Garrett loved the fish

...but he hated this gorilla! This gorilla was right next to our table and it would move and make noises every once in a while. Every time that happened Garrett was terrified! 

After a while he finally warmed up to the gorilla, only a little, but still kept an eye on it to make sure it wasn't going to charge. Haha!

The Disneyland Parade! It was so hilarious to see Kimbri's excitement! Garrett was excited too but again, was so scared if any of the characters got near him. But Kimbri got several high fives from several of the characters and was dancing along, loving every second of the parade!

I snapped this picture on our way back home... the "Welcome to Arizona" sign. 

The ride home was almost just as great as the ride there. The kids did amazing and this time we only had to stop twice, still pretty good for traveling with 2 toddlers! A HUGE thank you to my family for inviting us to come!!!!! We had an amazing time!
