It's hot Hot HOT!!!

This summer has been hot. I feel like that's probably a super obvious statement since we live in Arizona... but seriously, it has been one HOT summer! It actually wasn't too terrible up until we left for Utah the end of May. It was still hot but wasn't as bad as it normally is during that time of the year in Arizona. Then in Utah we enjoyed aMaZiNg weather which made it a thousand times worse to come bak to Arizona in the middle of June. We were welcomed with 114 degree weather as we drove into Phoenix. Blah. 

Soooo.... what do we do in the summer time in Arizona? We don't leave the house. Like ever. And if we leave it is to go outside and play in the water first thing in the morning before it get's to be 110 degrees! 

And believe me, we have tried so many frozen snacks, treats, popsicles, etc... You name it! Sam's Club has definitely delivered in there frozen desserts section! The strawberry Mexico brand popsicles have been a dream :) And the kids have loved frozen yogurts, frozen icees, and many different variety of popsicles. Yum!

All summer long I've been keeping my eye on the big blow up pools at Sam's Club. At the beginning of the summer they were $32. About a month ago they came down to $24. Well last week we were picking up a few things at Sam's and saw that they were down again in price to $19 so we decided to go for it! We got to the cash register and it rang up as $14!!! What a smokin' deal!! The kids have looooooved it and there is still so much summer time heat left this year that I'm sure we will get plenty of use out of it! Yay!
