DAY 1 - Travel Day
The night before we left for Florida, I made up a bunch of Mickey mouse pancakes with the waffle/pancake maker we got for Christmas from Sundee & Mike Stone. We packed them to have as breakfast in the car and for a couple other days on our trip.
We also packed a ton of snacks, fruit and sandwich stuff to take into the parks.
Getting our luggage put together!
We got up early to get a good start to the day. The kids were so excited to be heading to Disney World. So was I!!

I bought some coloring activities on clearance a while back to have some fun things for the kids to do on the long drive.
We have missed Bahama Bucks! It was a favorite when we lived in AZ. So when we got to Florida we had to stop by and use our coupon I've been holding onto for a long time for a free sno cone!
We also got a yummy strawberry banana smoothie to share.
Their favorite thing about this place is always the little umbrellas they give you. Then you can add them to the palm tree outside of the shop.
We made it!!
After getting everything loaded into the hotel we were all very ready for some dinner! We also loved a restaurant called Sweet Tomatoes when we lived in AZ so when we found out there was one really close to our hotel we had to go! Plus it's an all you can eat type place with a lot of options and variety which is good for kids to just try different things and find something they like.
We all started out with the salad bar and the kids loved the fruit punch for drinks. Then the kids moved on to things like mac and cheese and breadsticks. They also have a tons of soups, a potato bar and some other things like pasta, and cheese sticks. Then we ended with the mini ice cream cones that they have there. They are the perfect size for little kiddos and they were a huge hit!
After dinner we headed back to the hotel, got ready for bed and went to sleep so we could get up and at it for our first day at Disney World!
