Lately Garrett has been going to bed super early... like around 5:15pm early. And yes, he usually sleeps till after 7am. It is wonderful! Sooooo, since Rick usually has to study in the evening, Kimbri and I went out shopping for a little while one night while Garrett slept and Rick studied at home.
Kimbri was being hilarious!!!
Like when we first walked in to JcPenny and she saw this chair in the shoe department. She ran over to it and hopped on and said, "Ooooo, look at this flower chair!!" in her high-pitched, overly-excited voice!
Then she saw a mannequin. Her reaction? She ran over to it and stroked her fingers down the mannequins leg (not creepy at all! haha) and excitedly said, "She like a doll!"
Then round the corner she saw another one. Her words about this one: "She wonderful! She like a ballerina. She has a dress to daaaaaaance!"
I was dying of laughter. It was pure entertainment! And I never realized how many mannequins there are in JcPenny until Kimbri discovered them, having to point out ever. single. one of them! It was just too funny! She would run from mannequin to mannequin saying "She's like a doll. They lots a dolls!"
Then she saw these two and pointed to them and said, "Look, there's mommy and daddy!" I have no idea why she thought we looked like those mannequins but it was funny that she said that!
After walking through the clothes area we passed by the jewelry department to take the escalator down the stairs. She ran over to the jewelry in this case and said, "Oooooo! Look! Pretty, pretty shells!" Apparently the jewelry looked like shells to her. The things kids say :)
It really was sooo funny to see Kimbri so in to everything around her, discovering new things and saying hilarious stuff. I had to text myself the pictures and things she was saying because it was so funny to me. Anyway, we had a great night shopping together! It was fun to have a little mommy-daughter date out on the town :)
